The shortest day is now past. I hope, I say cagily, but I hope we might be seeing a turnaround.
My shoulder is apparently strong enough to allow for light sparring … today I managed to do five one-minute blasts on the rowing machine (plus a block run) and score a few metres over 300m each time … had an op that might yet bode well … got more acting work, including a tour that’s fallen out the sky, finally contacts are paying off … plus two rounds of articles about our friends in the Far East to do, and the drive to Cambridge for the conference was really well and truly worth it, as well as swinging through London and back via Oxford. Meanwhile for the RC I’m now an Enhanced First Aider.
November’s Black Friday was head-on into a wall, but you can’t ever write yourself off, and maybe things really ain’t so bad. You do the work, you do the work, you do the work, and there will be pay-offs.
